What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined ringfort in West Cork, its earthen bank eroded into a shallow curve while stone faces still hold the outer edge. The interior has filled with deciduous trees and pasture, turning a defensive border into a soft green room. Anyone walking past may wonder whether people lived inside, hid during storms, or simply marked the land before forgetting the name.

In pasture, on level ground above N-facing slope. Roughly circular area (23m N-S; 25m E-W), raised 0.9m above surrounding land; defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m) SSW->NNW. Bank badly eroded; stone faced on outside. Interior planted with deciduous trees. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
