On a SSW-facing slope of rising ground in undulating coutnryside overlooking valley to W. Nearby enclosure (TS051-021----) c. 100m to E and possible ringfort (TS051-018----) to N. Monument consists of a slightly raised area (diam. 21m SE-NW) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (base Wth 2.5m; top Wth 1m; ext. H 0.3m; int. H 0.2m) of earth and stone reduced to a scarp in places and outer fosse (Wth 2.5m; ext. D 0.4m) with no entrance feature visible. Enclosing bank destroyed at E where old roadway and field boundary intersected the monument.
