Towards the E end of a slight E-W ridge projecting E from Rathcroghan. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38.3m WNW-ESE; 36.2m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-5m; int. H 0.4-0.5m; ext. H 1.6-2m) and outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6.8m at E to 10.2m at S; Wth of base 2m at W to 5.5m at S; D 0.2-0.3m) which has been quarried at E. The entrance (Wth 1.9m) and causeway (Wth 4m) are at SE. The interior is bisected by a NNE-SSW field bank and drains, and the bank is incorporated into a field bank and the fosse removed NNE-ENE. Rath (RO022-099----) is c. 80m to the SE.
