What is recorded here

On a slight S-facing slope. Described (Gannon 1972) as a circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by the remains of an earthen bank which had three openings, that at NW (Wth 3m) probably being the original. It is not visible at ground level apart from the perimeter NE-E-SW which may be incorporated into a curving field bank and the townland boundary with Rathlena. Rath (RO032-042----) is c. 160m to the ESE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
