What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope overlooking a stream valley. Oval site (dims. 22.5m NW-SE; 27.25m NE-SW) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth c. 2m). There are no internal features, no traces of a fosse and no definite entrance. Shown as a circular area on the 1838 OS 6-inch map and as a small rectangular field on the 1907 OS 6-inch map. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
