What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined ringfort on a western Galway slope, its collapsed stone wall still marking a narrow northern entrance. Inside, faint rectangular foundations hint that people once built rooms against the curve, while outside two ghost chambers wait beneath the grass. The fort has lost much of its shape, but it keeps the memory of hands stacking stone and bodies moving through a gap barely wider than a man.

On W-facing slope of a hill. Poorly preserved almost circular cashel (D c. 20.8m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. At N, the wall curves inwards for 6m where there is an entrance gap (Wth 1.7m). Within NW sector of interior, and abutting the enclosing element, are the foundations of a rectangular grassed-over house (WNW-ESE; L 5.8m, Wth 2.5m).
