What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. Its earthen bank still marks a forty-metre ring on a south-facing slope, but grass and thorns have swallowed the entrance. People may have lived there, loved there, or fled from what the ring contained. The land kept the shape while forgetting the names.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Indicated on all eds OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m). Enclosure survives; bank visible; heavily overgrown and inaccessible.
