What is recorded here

Indicated is a 29-metre fairy fort on a south-facing slope in County Mayo, its low earthen bank still visible beneath pasture and fence. Houses and cultivation now occupy the interior, yet the circular shape remains clear enough to trace. The fort may have marked boundary, belonging or warning, but human life has already rewritten its purpose. What is indicated is not a hidden chamber or dead ritual; it is a shape that resisted forgetting.

In undulating pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 29m N-S), enclosed by low earthen bank (H 0.4m) S to W. Site largely overgrown and overlain by field fence in W.
