What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Manor, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a level landscape as a circular grass-covered area measuring 44.3m north-south and 42m east-west. An earthen bank with bushes and a flat-bottomed fosse define the boundary, while a field wall slightly truncates the northwest section. The southeast entrance and causeway create an external diameter of 58.2m east-west and 57.7m north-south.
On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.3m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4-5.8m; int. H 0.4-1.2m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m) which is poached, and a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5-5.8m; Wth of base 1.5-2m; D 0.4-0.6m) which is slightly truncated by a NE-SW field wall at NW. The entrance (Wth 2.1m) and causeway (Wth 2.3m) are at SE (ext. diam. 58.2m E-W; 57.7m N-S). Rath (RO028-140----) is c. 50m to the SE. See the attached image taken from the NE.
