At the summit of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered and flat-topped mound (diam. of base 24.5m NW-SE; 21.7m NE-SW; diam. of top 19.8m NW-SE; 15.5m NE-SW; H 0.2m at S to 1.4-1.5m N-E) which has been quarried back at N and probably lowered at S. A NNE-SSW field wall and hedge overlies it W of the centre. It is within ceremonial enclosure (RO028-148002-). Bowl barrow (RO028-153----) is c. 180m to the SSW. (Herity 1983, 129)
