What is recorded here

Indicated is a small circular crannog floating forty-eighty metres out in Lough Ramor, far enough from the shoreline to demand intention and faith. It remains marked on every survey, a stubborn dot of human presence in open water. Perhaps someone built it to watch the lake, hide from rain, or simply refuse the edge of the world.
