What is recorded here

Indicated is a stony crannog on Lough Melvin, County Leitrim, where a tower house still stands above timber marks on the west side. It floats a short distance from the shore near Rosclogher church, small enough to cross in moments yet tall enough to watch the water for days. The lake may have hidden footprints, tools and warnings beneath its surface, but the stones still point back to the place rather than claiming to understand it.

Situated c. 100m from the S shore of Lough Melvin, close to Rosclogher church (LE002-015001-). This is a subcircular stony island (dims 21m x 16m; H 1.5m) with evidence of timber construction at the W side. The tower house (002-014002-) is built on top of it. See the attached view from the N.
