In pasture, encompassing the top of a low rise.
Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m), and on the 1917 edition as a semi-circular hachured feature. This enclosure has been levelled; the ephemeral outline of a roughly circular area (diam. c. 15m) can be discerned at ground level, merging with the natural contours of the rise.
