What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland, holding a circular area twenty-seven point nine metres wide behind an earthen bank and scarp. Sheep and people have worn gaps across the bank, and a modern shed leans against the northern scarp, but the raised interior still resists the hillslope. The fort is heavily overgrown now, yet its shape remains clear enough to suggest that human hands built it before memory faded.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (27.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.35m) N->NW; scarp (H c. 2m) NW->N. Modern shed built against scarp to N. Numerous gaps worn across bank. Fosse filled in, except to S (D 0.4m). Interior raised on N side to counteract hillslope; heavily overgrown.
