Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackan (roscommon By., Aughrim East Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the crest of a south-facing drumlin ridge and preserves a subcircular grass-covered area bounded partly by an earthen bank and partly by a scarp. The 1914 Ordnance Survey map marked it as a circular enclosure with a separate earthwork to the southwest, although only one feature may ever have existed there.

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure, with earthwork (RO017-025001-) attached to the SW, although there was perhaps ever only one feature at this location. Situated at the crest of the S-facing slope of an ENE-WSW drumlin ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 30.5m NW-SE; 28.5m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.95m) N-E and by a scarp (H 0.3-0.6m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Rath (RO017-024----) is c. 160m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
