What is recorded here

In the NE corner of triangular Lough Acrick (dims. c. 800-900m N-S; c. 450m E-W at N) c. 120m from the E shore and c. 140m from the N shore. Circular overgrown island (diam. 18m N-S; 17m E-W; H 0.6-1m) with a flat summit (diam. 7-8m). A collapsed palisade is visible in the water SE-W, c. 1.5m from the shore with deeper water immediately beyond. Two English shillings of c. 1560 were found on it (Lucas 1970, 165).
