What is recorded here

In low-lying boggy ground, c. 20m N of a stream. A circular well (int. diam. 1.2m), covered with overgrowth, named 'Kingsbrook Well' on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. According to Wood-Martin (1892, 355-6, n. 1), this well was 'formerly held in estimation as "holy"'.
