Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. It is a circular earthen ring on a hillock, with a small triangular field beside it where the bank was levelled. The land falls away sharply on three sides, making the enclosure stand out like a button on a coat. Cattle may still walk around it, unaware that the circle has been waiting for people since before maps existed.

In pasture, just east of summit of hillock; land falls away sharply to N, E and S. Circular area (26m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.2m) ESE->NW; scarp NW->NE (H 1.6m). Small triangular field adjoins enclosure where bank levelled NE->ESE. Fosse evident as slight depression outside bank to S.
