In hilly pasture, on SW-facing slope. Hachured on O.S. map (1842) as square enclosure. Roughly circular area (48m N-S; 60m E-W) defined by eroded bank with trace of external fosse to NE; uneven surface SE->S; scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere. Break in scarp (Wth 7m) to WNW. Levelled c. 1978.
