In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope and just S of rock outcrop. Irregular limestone block (L 3m; Wth 2m; max. T 1.35m; long axis NE-SW); flat weathered upper surface. Cavity (0.25m x 0.25m; D 1m) on W side, near base. Bowman (1934, 54) recorded stone as 'Dallan' and also noted the cavity. Known locally as mass rock.
