What is recorded here

An apparently natural island in Inishmuck Lough, 60m from the shoreline. On it Davies (NMI Survey 1941) found a rough quern. Otherwise no habitation evidence. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
