Indicated is a circular stone fort in County Cork, Ireland, holding a local story about an underground passage beneath its grassy floor. The clear gap in its weathered wall invites entry into a hidden world where human ambition and fairy cleverness collide.

In rough grazing, on W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 17.5m E-W) enclosed by stone wall (H 1.6m) similar in construction to surrounding field fences. Gap (Wth 1m) to NE. Locally known as "fort" with tradition of Man-made underground passage (CO102-01902-) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
