Marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map; a circular enclosure (max. diam. c. 25m) with a lime kiln in the interior at NE. No visible surface remains. Situated on wet marshy land with excellent views to the N and W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
