A roughly oval shaped area (approx. diam. 45m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank, shallow fosse and a slight external bank only visible from S-W. Entrance gap (Wth 1.8m) at SSE. The interior rises appreciably from the interior towards the centre. A post-1700 earthen bank has been placed around the site to delimit a woodland plantation that is depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map.
