What is recorded here

Located on a slight W-E spur in the foothills of the Balckstairs Mountains. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; H 1-1.6m; ext. H 0.8m at W to 1.4-1.8m generally) and hedge. There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 2m) is at ENE. Two low parallel banks (L 16m) within the interior may be modern. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
