Marked as the SW quadrant (ext. dims. c. 26m E-W; c. 24m N-S) of a circular embanked enclosure truncated by field banks at N and E on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture at the N edge of a broad, low plateau on the S side of the W-E Clodiagh River with the river c. 300m to the N. It is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
