What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 43-48m) and 1925 (ext. diam. c. 50m) eds of OS 6-inch maps. Situated in pasture on a slight plateau in the valley of the Clodiagh River with the N-S stream c. 90m to the W. It is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
