In tillage, on steep E-facing slope c. 150m from Glashaboy river; good view to E. Site shown as curve in field fence on all eds OS 6-inch map. Stone-faced field fence, more substantial than adjacent stretches, curves NNE->S. No other visible trace of site. Local tradition of fort in field. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
