Marked faintly as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 30m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and located in the bottom of a steep-sided S-N valley and towards its head, with a stream c. 20m to the W. It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Rath (WX034-008002-) is c. 80m to the N and rath (WX034-010----) is c. 140m to the E.
