On a low-lying landscape with a W-E stream c. 25m to the S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 80m E-W; 75m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4-5.2m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 0.8-0.9m ESE-SW to 1.8m elsewhere), with an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-7.3m; Wth of base 2.7-3.5m; D 0.3m ESE-SW to 0.9m SW-NE) which has been removed NE-ESE.
