On a low rise with a SW-NE stream c. 50m to the NW. Oval overgrown area in a deciduous wood (dims. 27.8 N-S; 23.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.3m at S to 3.2m at E; int. H 0.2-0.35m; ext. H 0.65-0.8m) E-S and a scarp (H 0.4m at NE to 1.8m at W) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (wth of base 3m; D 0.2-0.3m) NE-SE. There is no visible entrance.
