Indicated is a ruined stone ring in County Clare, not a fantasy home. Its western wall still curves through rough pasture while later drystone lines cut across the interior. The fairies may have been invented because people wanted wonder instead of measurement.

On level ground on a gently N-sloping semi-karst plateau in rough pasture, with widest views from N to S and within an extensive field system (CL017-180----). This small, poorly preserved subcircular cashel (int. diam. 19.5m N-S; ext. diam. 23.1m N-S) is defined only by the W half of its collapsed wall (Wth 1.8m), curving from SSW to N. The outer wall-face (max. H 0.5m) is visible within this wall collapse, especially at WNW-N. The interior slopes to the N and E and there is a Man-made underground passage (CL010-200002-) S of centre. A later drystone wall is built over the cashel wall from W to N, while another later straight wall extends NNW-SSE through the middle of the cashel.
