A local fairy fort (ringfort/rath) known as Ráithín, indicated on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (1839) as a circular enclosure with a diameter of approximately 24 metres. Likely dating to the early medieval period, it retains a local name associated with traditional Irish rath nomenclature, though specific folklore is not recorded.
