Indicated is a vanished Cork ringfort whose western rampart men levelled and whose eastern edge a modern fence still guards. It disappeared from ordinary sight, yet in 2008 a raised interior emerged during assessment, proving the fort had not stopped existing but had stopped performing for the world. Maybe it waits for someone to stop treating grass as empty.

Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; survives NNW->S incorporated into field fence system on 1904 and 1937 OS 6-inch map; levelled section to W indicated by broken line on 1937 OS 6-inch map. According to Hartnett (1939, 282), 'rampart to the west is levelled, and a modern fence surrounds the fort to the north and east'. Levelled; no visible surface trace. In 2008 remains of this ringfort, in the form of a raised interior (H c. 1.5m), were identified during an archaeological assessment (Shine 2008).
