What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken fairy fort on a western Galway slope, its forty-one-metre circle cut by ordinary field walls. The drystone wall still stands where it can be seen, but the rest has surrendered to grass and forgetting. Perhaps people once lived inside that circle before becoming the kind of absence the land now absorbs.

On W-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (D 41m) defined by a drystone wall. A field wall cuts the monument at NNW and SSE and no visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives to SW of it.
