What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Corgarve (frenchpark By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The site occupies a gentle east-facing slope and contains a circular grass-covered area about twenty-eight metres across. A low earthen bank, one to one and a quarter metres high, marks the boundary, with the strongest remains along the south, north and east sides. Two other rath sites stand roughly one hundred and eighty metres away to the west-northwest and west-southwest.

On a gentle E-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. 33m) defined by an earthen bank with an entrance at SE (Gannon 1972). Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m) defined by a gentle scarp (H 1-1.25m) which is best preserved S-N-E. Rath (RO016-072----) is c. 180m to the WNW and rath (RO016-100----) is c. 180m to the WSW.
