What is recorded here

Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 60m) on the 1839 and 1924 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of an E-facing slope with a NNW-SSE stream c. 350m to the E. No feature is visible at ground level in pasture but it is visible as the faint vegetation mark of an earthen bank on the OSI series of aerial photographs (2000) and on Google Earth (2011). It is also visible on digital aerial photographs (WX019-002_1 to _3) from 2006. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
