What is recorded here

Situated on the summit of a low hill. Circular earthen mound (diam. 40m; H 0.8m) with slight traces of a probably modern earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; H 0.4m) at the SW. Shown on the current edition OS 6-inch map as an enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
