What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined ringfort on a Limerick ridge, its stone bank chopped into a shallow oval pit where greed or hunger took what it wanted. The remaining circle holds quiet pasture, slightly dipped at the centre as if still breathing out. People may have lived inside before the scarp gave way, but the land keeps that part back.

In pasture, atop low ridge. Circular area (26.3m N-S: 26.8m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.75m) NW->E and defined by scarped edge (H 0.9; Wth 2.9m) SE->NW, with gap (Wth 6m) at ESE. Scarp quarried out at W resulting in ovoid depression (4.1m N-S; 3.2m E-W; D 0.55m).
