What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloonrabrackan, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a level low-lying landscape near the Scramoge River and consists of a subcircular grass-covered area bounded by a low earthen bank and outer fosse. The structure measures approximately 66m east-west and 60m north-south, but no original entrance remains identifiable.
On a level low-lying landscape with the S-N Scramoge River c. 200m to the E. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 66m E-W; 60m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 5-5.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4-0.5m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6m; Wth of base 2.9-3.2m; D 0.3-0.4m). There is no identifiable original entrance. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
