What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a rise on a N-facing slope. The land immediately to S is planted with forestry. This possible rath is shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 30m); by the time of the 1919 edition the N half of the enclosure had been removed and it is depicted as a hachured semi-circular area (diam. c. 25m NE−SW), curving from E−WSW. It has been levelled; there is no visible trace at ground level.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
