Indicated is a roughly oval enclosure in County Cork, Ireland, marked on maps from 1842 to 1936 and still visible today as a low earthen bank partly faced with stone. A farm laneway cuts through its centre, buildings press against its southeast edge, and coniferous trees, deciduous trees, briars and bush cover have claimed much of the interior. It is not known locally as a fort, yet its shape, breaks and position beside a working farmyard suggest a place long used, altered and remembered through ordinary life rather than grand claim.

In pasture. Indicated as roughly oval field (diam. 60m E-W; 50m N-S) on 1842, 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps, adjoining N side of farmyard. Roughly oval area (60m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.4m), stone faced in parts. Break in bank to E (Wth 4m) and W (Wth 2.3m), joined by farm laneway which crosses interior. Farm buildings encroach on enclosure to SE. Interior heavily overgrown with coniferous trees, deciduous trees, low briars and bush cover. Not known locally as a fort.
