On an E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. The children's burial ground (RO051-034001-) is within a D-shaped scrub-covered enclosure (dims 34m N-S; 18.5m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread S-W-N and a N-S masonry wall on the straight E side but with no evidence of the enclosure E of this feature where there is a farm shed.
