Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowmacrory, County Sligo, Ireland. The circular platform measures 31m north-south and 29.2m east-west, enclosed by a fragmentary bank roughly 5m wide. The eastern half slopes downward while the entrance may have occupied the southwest side where the interior sits lowest.
In pasture, straddles the break of slope on top of a low N-S ridge. Ground falls away towards a river c. 100m to E. Raised raised circular platform (31m N-S; 29.2m E-W) enclosed by fragmentary remains of a bank (Wth c. 5m; ext. H 0.9m at W, 1.6m at E). The E half of the interior slopes down from W to E. There are several depressions and areas of disturbance in the interior. The entrance may have been on the SW side where interior ground level is lowest relative to the exterior.
