Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowhubbuck South, County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a low rise at the western edge of Enniscrone village. A twenty-eight metre circular area surrounds an earthen bank three point six to three point eight metres wide. The northern two thirds border a public amenity area and laneway, while the remainder touches a private garden.
Situated on a low rise at the W edge of Enniscrone village. Raised circular area (diam. 28m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-3.8m; ont. H 0.7-0.9m; ext. H 1m). The N two thirds of the site lies within a modern public amenity area and is skirted by a laneway. The remainder is located within the garden of a private dwelling. Compiled by: Patrick F.
