On the W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 46m N-S; 43m E-W) defined by a fosse (at E: Wth of top 3.3m; Wth of base 2.4m; int. D 1.1m; ext. D 0.6m) NE-SE, which has been re-cut as a drain (Wth of base 1-1.8m; int. D 1.1-1.4m; ext. D 0.6-0.8m) elsewhere. There is no visible bank or identifiable original entrance, and the E part of the monument is overgrown. Rath (RO029-126----) is c. 170m to the SSW.
