Not listed in either the SMR (1989) or RMP (1995). This limekiln is cut into N-facing hillside in a small limestone quarry. The limekiln comprises rubble limestone walls laid in rough courses and bonded with a gravely lime mortar. The front elevation (H 3.2m) faces NNE, with a wooden lintelled recess (H 1.6m; D 1.65m) and a stepped lower lintel with a supporting wooden and iron bar. The rear of the recess consists of stepped stones with an ope at the base which is blocked with rubble. The bottom of funnel (diam. 2.1m) is infilled with rubble.
