Within a small tree plantation, overgrown with trees and scrub. A rectangular enclosure (overall dims. c. 51m NW-SE; c. 48m NE-SW; int. dims. c. 43m NW-SE; c. 37m NE-SW) enclosed by a slight internal bank and wide waterlogged fosse/moat (Wth c. 2.5-3m; D c. 1-1.5m), except on the S side where the fosse is dry and shallower (D c. 0.5m). Small boulders noted in the interior in the NW sector may indicate internal structures.
