Roadside, to SE of Mitchelstown. Indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map as 'Fever Hospital & Dispensary'. T-shaped 2-storey structure, now used as residential house. Rendered over random-rubble limestone construction. Entrance front (SW) of 5 bays, large brick-arched window opes, modern windows, central pedimented coursed ashlar porch. Hipped roof, two-off centre chimneys. Side elevations 1-bay deep. Central 2-storey hipped projection to rear, flanked by lean-to additions. Built as fever hospital in 1823 at expense of Lord Kingston, to which a dispensary had been added by 1837 (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 373).
