Limestone gateway to Christian Brothers monastery and school, erected c.1860, comprising square-profile cut tooled limestone inner and outer piers, having caps and double-leaf wrought-iron gates. Curved snecked limestone walls with limestone copings.
This gateway is located at end of an impressive straight driveway leading to the Christian Brothers School, but formerly serving the former parochial house to once stood to the north. It forms an attractive entrance, the cut limestone exhibiting fine craftsmanship.
